The data indicates that support is lowest among Black and Hispanic communities. Perhaps that's due, in part, to the fact that Black and Hispanic families have experienced declines of wages of 1.6% and 1.1%, respectively, showing that wages for minorities didn't keep up with inflation.
Mitch Roschelle, a visiting research fellow at the University of San Diego School of Business and founding partner of Macro Trends Advisors, discusses these findings on "On Balance."
