4:37Now PlayingSheila Fann grew up in rural Warren County, Tennessee, and is now executive director of HOME, or Homeless of McMinnville Effort. Fann helped found the nonprofit, which helps unhoused people in the area. In HOME's first year, its primary focus was providing basic necessities to those living outdoors in tents, shacks and vehicles. Volunteers delivered donated food, clothing, tents, sleeping bags and blankets to those in need. Seeking more stable transitional housing, Fann succeeded in an effort to have the city of McMinnville donate land for a tiny home community.
