4:18Now PlayingMusic teacher Charlotte Tacy Holliday founded her non-profit "The Tacy Foundation" in response to tragedy when her best friend was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. At the time, she brought her students together to create music CDs for breast cancer patients at John Hopkins University Hospital. From that experience, she went on to start her foundation that would respond to human suffering with the gift of music, following the foundation's model of "inspiring hope, note by note." She is a remarkable woman who exhibits innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
