On Tuesday's "The Daily Take": NewsNation's Connell McShane and Geraldo Rivera discuss the guilty verdict handed down to Karmelo Anthony, who fatally stabbed Austin Metcalf at a track meet in 2025. Rivera questions why Anthony's defense didn't allow him to take the stand so he could explain what happened if he wanted to claim self defense. Rivera also has concerns about representation, considering there were no Black jurors selected out of hundreds of prospects. "It's a tragic story but there's a lot of questions to answer here," Rivera says as he offers his condolences to both families involved.
