Welcome to the Not A Grayman Podcast, where your host, RK Gray, speaks with her unique network of professionals who have stepped out of the shadows and are NOT "Graymen". Among them is today's guest, former U.S. Secret Service Special Agent SEAN QUARMBY aka "Agent Q"/ "Mr. Q". As a secret service agent, Sean worked for both the Clinton and Bush Administrations as part of the Permanent Protection Detail (PPD), Physical Protection, Protective Intelligence, amongst other responsibilities. Sean is an accomplished figure in security and investigations, and he helped craft the Identity Theft and Assumptions Deterrence Act. Sean fought against financial crimes, including the North Korean "Super Note", which was a major theme in his book Room 23 (A MUST READ for all you adrenaline junkies!!!.... orrrrrr if you would like some raw insight into the hiring process and what it's like to live in a secret service agents shoes). Room 23 brings the thrill of several political and intelligence twists right to your fingertips; I personally loved it.

Sean has continued in his calling for public service, and now taken on a new venture of teaching criminal justice at Piedmont College in North Carolina post his retirement from law enforcement. His pursuit for finding purpose will surely resonate with so many wondering what is next after a career in public service.
