Police in Brazil say they foiled a bomb threat aimed at a free Lady Gaga concert at Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Beach on Saturday night. The event drew more than 2 million people, making it the largest show of Lady Gaga's career.

According to police, the attack's alleged organizers were recruiting participants online — including teenagers — to carry out the bombing using improvised explosives and Molotov cocktails. Officials said the plan was to target "children, adolescents, and the LGBTQIA+ community."

Two unnamed people were arrested in connection with the plan, including the alleged leader of the group and a teenager who police said was arrested for storing child pornography.
