As a member of the bipartisan task force to find solutions for severe weather disasters, Martins is developing recommendations. He speaks about what he's learned and has suggestions as recovery methods move forward. Senator Martins is also urging Governor Cuomo to repeal a tax on ratepayers' electric bills that Cuomo lined out in the executive budget. And Senator Martins talks proudly of this year's Intel Science Talent Search winners. There were 14 winners from high schools in his district. He talks about the important programs that help students become leaders and his recent visits to Munsey Park School, Dryden Street School and his Pizza and Politics program.
