Do you know what the share of Icelandic people that were watching their World Cup game was yesterday? 99.6% of all the televisions in the country.
Do you know that when Mexico shared their goal against Germany, they created an earthquake on the seismograph in the country.
So when you say no one cares about soccer, you are basically identifying yourself as a gigantic loser. Because the whole world cares about soccer.
Now do less people care about soccer than care about American football in our country? Yes.
Do I care less about soccer than I do American football? Yes.
Do I like to watch soccer? Yes.
Do I enjoy the World Cup? Yes.
If you do not, then go spend your time hanging out with a bunch of your Neanderthal buddies who sit around saying, "Soccer sucks. Soccer sucks. Do you still think soccer sucks?"
That's like a 20 year old joke. And you're a loser if you make it.
Some people like soccer. Some people don't. If you don't like something, then don't watch it. It's not complicated. I don't like the WNBA.
Do I come on the show every day and talk about how much the WNBA sucks? No.
