An American-born British actor, Wanamaker has been highly acclaimed, with her nine Olivier Award nominations, four Tony Award nominations, and multiple BAFTA nominations which are a testament to her talent on the stage and on screen. From Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to Agatha Christie’s Poirot, she has amazed audiences far and wide on the big screen. Having worked extensively with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre, she is skilled in many styles of acting, and has recently been selected for the fourth consecutive year as the voiceover of the Olivier Awards, delighting theatre fanatics.
