Thaler is a world-renowned economist, best known for pioneering the field of behavioural economics. A professor at the University of Chicago, and a member of the National Academy of Sciences, Thaler has led the field of economics for decades through the introduction of psychological and behavioural perspectives into traditional economic models. He was awarded a Nobel Prize in Economics in 2017.
