YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOne of America’s most beloved national parks may be swallowed by a border wall, and people across the political spectrum are pushing back 🌵 Thousands gathered to oppose plans to build through Big Bend, including Democrats, Republicans, local officials, and families who treasure that land. The government has already waived environmental and historic protection laws to speed up construction along hundreds of miles of the border ⚖️ That includes areas where ancient rock art, sacred to Native communities, could be destroyed or cut off. Even unlikely allies are standing together, saying the same thing: nobody wants this wall in Big Bend 🚨 Despite public pressure forcing changes to official maps, there is still no binding promise to protect the parks. When people from both parties stand together and say no, it sends a powerful political message 💼 And sustained pressure like this can lead to real, lasting change. I’m Brian Manning, and if you need help with an asylum case or getting a loved one out of immigration detention, send me the word “CONSULT” in a direct message.
