50:45Now PlayingIn his long and distinguished career, Rosenblatt, a professor of English and writing at Stony Brook, has published essays, memoirs, plays, and fiction—an oeuvre for which he won the 2015 Kenyon Review Award for Literary Achievement. His eighteenth book is a novel that follows the eponymous Murphy as he comes to terms with aging. While his daughter worries about his memory, Murph tells a lively string of stories from throughout his life, and when he meets Sarah, a much younger blind woman, he shows there’s plenty of life in him yet.
