Marcella Pixley is the award-winning author of Freak, Without Tess, and Ready to Fall. Her poetry can be found in journals including Prairie Schooner, Feminist Studies, Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, and Poet Lore. She teaches eighth grade Language Arts at the Carlisle Public Schools, and lives in an antique farmhouse in Westford, Massachusetts with her husband and two sons.
Jennifer Richard Jacobson is an award-winning author whose works include The Dollar Kids, Paper Things, Small as an Elephant, and the Andy Shane series for young readers. When she’s not writing, she provides Writer’s Workshop training for teachers. She lives in Maine with her husband and dog.
