With Keir Starmer still away (this time at The Hague for a NATO summit), so Angela Rayner once against deputises for the Prime Minister. This week she faces off against Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer Mel Stride.
Top of the agenda is the rebellion Rayner and the Labour government are facing over cuts to disability benefits and PIP payments, which is the first serious challenge to their leadership since they were elected last year. Stryde pushes Rayner on defending policy she doesn't believe in, and Clive Bailey raises wider concerns about his party's direction. The gang also hear questions from Liberal Democrat deputy leader Daisy Cooper, Andrew Snowden, and Jeremy Corbyn, the latter of which presses Rayner to not lose sight of Israel's continued occupation of Gaza.
