KYIV, UKRAINE
In August, I am heading to Ukraine, as a volunteer, to train local mental health practitioners - therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists - on how to treat PTSD.
I am going to be joining a team of great and generous people like Dr. Fernando of Harvard University (an expert in disaster medicine) and the Australian therapist, Cheriekah Ramirez.

Owing to the war in Ukraine, as of July, I will no longer be retaining my position as a professor of psychology in Southern Federal University, Rostov-on-Don, Russian Federation. I will miss the wonderful people there, but I can be of much greater use in Ukraine now.
