YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAt an event in Montreal on February 10, 2023, I and fellow lawyer John Philpot called out Canada's Minister of International Development (and ex-Defence Minister), Harjit Sajjan, for Canada's hypocrisy on human rights and international law.
In this video of my intervention, I told Minister Sajjan that Canada's failure to hold U.S. officials accountable for war crimes in Iraq, as well as Canada's sale of deadly weapons to the genocidal Saudi autocracy, have destroyed whatever moral authority Canada's government may have had in international affairs.
Unfortunately, I was forcibly removed from the venue before Minister Sajjan responded to my questions.
