Dimitri Lascaris went to the conference and applied for media accreditation. Despite being a card-carrying member of the press, Lascaris’s application for accreditation was refused without explanation.
After being refused admission, Lascaris stood at the the entrance to conference and asked delegates whether Palestinian lives are as valuable as Ukrainian lives.
After Lascaris posed his question to dozens of delegates, he was surrounded by security guards. The guards ordered Lascaris to stop filming and to leave the facility. They then escorted Lascaris to the building's exit.
