In 2022, the far-right Sweden Democrats, led by Jimmie Akesson (featured in the thumbnail to this video) won the second-largest share of the votes in Sweden's Parliamentary election.
Less than two years later, Sweden joined NATO, an aggressive military alliance dominated by the U.S. military industrial complex. The following year, Sweden's government announced that it would raise military spending to the ruinous level of 5% of GDP.
Then, Sweden's Migration Minister professed to be shocked when the press revealed that his teenage son was a member of a Neo-Nazi fight club.
What has happened to Sweden? To examine this question, Dimitri Lascaris speaks with Swedish human rights activist Jonas Hjelm-Smith.
