6:59Now PlayingTYT contributor Ryan Grim ( ) responds to live questions from our viewers complaining about our, and other news outlets' coverage of the resignation of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn for lying about his communications with the Russian government. Why should everyday Americans care about the Trump administration's dealings with Russia? Grim had the opportunity to ask U.S. Senator Rob Portman (ROH), as well as offer his own analysis.
President Trump, Russia Today, Fox News, and others have made the claim that the controversy is merely a way to shield the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton from criticism for a stunning defeat last November, and, to take away from President Trump's stunning victory. Trump, Russia Today, and Fox News would rather focus on "illegal leaks" from the Intelligence Community and the law enforcement community which lead to widespread media coverage, and made sweeping Michael Flynn's lies under the rug more damaging to the Trump administration than cutting Flynn loose.
