Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party released in a new ad earlier this week called “A better plan for Canada’s middle class.”

Justin Trudeau’s tried to cast himself as the defender of the middle class, but is he?

In his commercial, he attempts to paint a picture of a bleak future for middle class Canadians under Stephen Harper.

But by relying on scare tactics, he intentionally leaves out some basic facts to make his argument. Let's take a look at a few statistics to see what the future really holds.
