Brian Lilley reports for TheRebel.media:

Judging by their tweets, reporters can't decide whether they're bored or fascinated by the Mike Duffy trial in Ottawa.

Much of the first day was taken up by journalists trying to settle on which hashtag to use, rather than the details of the proceedings. And when court was in session, reporters tweeted banal details about lunch, or complained that their eyes were glazing over.

The trial began with a media frenzy, but by the time it's over, most of these reporters will have long ago moved onto the next "big" thing.
