1:32Now PlayingAlberta PC leader Jim Prentice says he respects the leader of the provincial NDP but says her party has no business running the province.
In a scrum with reporters today in Calgary, Prentice went as far to say Alberta is not an NDP province given its attitudes about the free market economy and competitiveness.
He made the comments after an all party debate in Edmonton after which some analysts said Notley won.
She and Prentice clashed over the proposed NDP corporate tax increase which some economists say would cost thousands of jobs.
Notley accused Prentice of fear-mongering over her economic plan and says there are many other factors that drive business investment besides low corporate taxes.
