As for his rivals, Lilley says Thomas Mulcair of the NDP looked the part, too, against a dramatic backdrop. But Justin Trudeau was in Vancouver, getting reading to march in the Pride Parade, so all he did was issue a press release.
It's been the same for the last couple of elections: the Liberals just don't seem to have their act together.
