17:16Now PlayingGun control advocates in the U.S. and Canada realize they're getting nowhere at the federal level, so they've set their sights on passing new laws at the municipal one. For example, Seattle has just voted unanimously to raise taxes on guns and bullets.
Brian Lilley of TheRebel.media talks to renowned crime and gun control scholar John R. Lott, Jr. about this move to make gun ownership more trouble than it's worth. Lott says these new fees especially hurt poor minorities who want firearms for self-defense. And of course, gang members and other criminals aren't the ones who are going to pay these taxes.
