5:24Now PlayingBrian Lilley of TheRebel.Media reports that yesterday, Ezra told us about the cancellation of a luncheon event at a men's only club that was to feature Finance Minister Joe Oliver.
Freeland showed up at the men's club with cameras and reporters in tow to make a fuss about the event and show that her party stands up for women, except as often happens with Liberals, it doesn't take much digging to unearth the hypocrisy.
First, while membership in the club is for men only, those men can and do bring guests who are often, women.
Freeland also seems to be unaware that members of her own party (George Smitherman, Rocco Rossi etc.) and even Olivia Chow have all spoken at the club to mixed audiences and indeed while complaining to the manager, an invitation to speak was extended to her.
And lest we forget, this is a woman who was a part of the "Ladies Night" for "Justin Unplugged"
which treated Justin like nothing more than a sex object.
This is also a woman who, in expressing her opposition to income splitting during debate in Parliament, revealed that she thinks if we give women choices, they're automatically going to fall into a June and Ward Cleaver lifestyle.
One can be forgiven for asking, who's the sexist Ms Freeland?
