Reports, now proven false, claimed Abdula Kurdi's sister in Vancouver had applied to bring them to Canada and that application was denied.
Regardless, the Media Party and the opposition is cynically exploiting this tragedy as a way to attack Stephen Harper. Mulcair's statement that Canada is "doing nothing" is extraordinary, since he wants to halt airstrikes against ISIS -- the terrorists who created the crisis.
