Sheila joined this truly grassroots movement on their truck convoy from Blackfalds to Strathmore near Red Deer Alberta where she talked to the people behind it all.
Lorne Murfitt, Julie Franz and Jim Satink are everyday Albertans on a mission. They’re inspiring people across the province to join them at their rallies to demand that the NDP government hear their concerns and act, to save jobs, to save money and to save our futures.
In Strathmore, she caught up with her good friend and brand new Rebel contributor, Holly Nicholas, and they waded into the eager crowd to hear their stories. What they found were people from all different backgrounds, professionals and blue collar alike, all saying the same thing: they aren’t seeing a provincial government that will stop the bleeding of jobs and investment.
And Lorne, Julie and Jim say more rallies are planned across the province. With over 20,000 followers on their Facebook page, the Albertans Against The NDP aren’t stopping what they’re doing anytime soon.
