"I think it's really sad that Canada wants to punish people just for following their religion. The niqab is an integral part of a Muslim woman's identity and to make them take it off is to force them to sin. You can't do that. You can't just make people do something that violates their religion.
"Of course, we make Christians bake cakes for gay weddings and we fine them for refusing to hold gay weddings in their living room but that's different. Those people were trying to oppress gays and deny them their rights. We had to punish them to gain equality. Also, the crusades or something."
