The Albertans Against the NDP have a rally planned for this Saturday, October third at the Savage Oilfield yard. The rally starts at noon at 14203-93 st, Grande Prairie.
Over 44 thousand Albertans have lost their jobs. That’s two thirds of the population of Grande Prairie, itself. These are our friends, neighbors, and our families. We are standing up for them.
This one, like the last 2 rallies, is a family friendly event. The rally organizers are encouraging everyone to bring a non perishable food item as a donation to the food bank.
If anyone tries to tell you pushing back doesn’t make a difference, tell them they’re wrong. Our outrage this past week made the NDP pump the brakes on their plan to give senior government bureaucrats a 7.25 percent raise when many Albertans in the private sector are taking wage roll backs just to save their jobs.
This isn’t an event with professional speakers. This is an event for you. Bring your lawn chair. Bring your best protest sign. Bring your friends. Say hi and be prepared to tell your story.
You deserve to be heard.
