3:44Now PlayingHolly Nicholas of TheRebel.Media reports, the community engagement session for the royalty review in Alberta came to Calgary recently and the event brought many Calgarians and MLA’s alike out to discuss concerns surrounding oil and gas revenues.
Dave Mowat, CEO and president of the Alberta Treasury Branch was in attendance. As you may recall, Mowat is on the royalty review panel and he’s also been trained by Al Gore.
A citizen journalist also happened to catch up with Jamie Kleinsteuber, MLA for Calgary Northern Hills. And he caught it on tape. Kleinsteuber had some peculiar things to say – showing just how out of touch he is with Alberta.
He also said that Prime Minister Harper controlled international oil prices by kicking Russia out of the G8. Yes, he said that.
Of course, Jamie was a little shaken when he found out he was being recorded -- he tried to confiscate the citizen’s phone and then ran away a few instances later. Perhaps because he knew some of the comments he made were truly out of this world.
Watch as this train derails.
