3:59Now PlayingHolly Nicholas of TheRebel.Media reports, the Libertarian Party of Canada was at the CBC Headquarters in Calgary to promote their public awareness campaign – “Sell the CBC.”
The party showed up with 50 signs and planted them right on the front lawn, to many honks and waves from passersby.
Tim Moen, leader of the party, says that the CBC is a waste of tax dollars that could be spent on more important expenditures. His Director of Communications, Trevor Schmidt, agrees.
Former UFC fighter and supporter Nick Ring thinks that the money spent on the CBC is better kept in his pocket.
We also asked Moen what he thinks of Justin Trudeau’s increases in funding to the CBC – watch to catch his parting words.
