7:14Now PlayingEzra Levant of TheRebel.media reports:
The Toronto Star has sold — for a secret amount of money — editorial access to their pages to the Tides Canada Foundation, the Canadian branch plant of the San Francisco-based, $150 million a year lobby firm that sponsors anti-oilsands, anti-pipelines and anti-tanker activists in Canada.
In yesterday’s newspaper, on page A4, the Star ran a glowing, slobbering interview with a global warming extremist, promoting his propaganda against oil and gas and industry and Stephen Harper.
It’s the kind of thing that, say, if the National Post did, selling to an oil company, would be scandalous news, covered by every other reporter in the country as a crisis of media ethics.
