5:42Now PlayingBrian Lilley of TheRebel.Media reports throughout the campaign, Justin Trudeau insisted that he would usher in a new era of openness and transparency, his version of Gorbachev's Glasnost, that would bring us out of the dark era of Harper.
He kept insisting he would be the polar opposite of the "secretive" Harper.
It seems the era of openness is ending before it really even began though. Last week some in the media were already complaining about missing or selective notification of events they would have liked the option of covering, had they known.
But let's see if any of this relatively quiet chatter makes the news at anywhere close to the scale that Harper's well documented affronts to the media did.
So much for openness and transparency but listen in to this report to find out which stories the media wasn't invited by Justin to report on.
