Sheila Gunn Reid of TheRebel.Media reports, the Ontario Minister of the Environment and Climate Change blamed the rise of ISIS on Climate Change. But he's not alone.
He joins a choir of progressive left wing apologists on this very important issue.
The minister, Glen Murray, right after the terror attacks in Paris tweeted this: Iraq's had warm temperatures recently. Isis is gaining ground. Coincidence?
That tweet is crazy. But it is somewhat expected.
This is the new narrative of the Left: the Islamic State isn't really Islamic. And if that excuse doesn't work, well climate change did it.
Democrat Presidential Candidate Martin O'Malley blamed the rise of Islamic terror on climate change. Fellow Presidential nomination hopeful Bernie Sanders did, too. Even President Obama chose the important and symbolic event of a coast guard graduation to hijack with climate change fear mongering.
Closer to home, Canadian Foreign Affairs minister Stephane Dion said climate change is the greatest threat Canada will face this century.
Are you seeing a trend? I sure am.
These progressives just can't bring themselves to say "Radical Islam." They’ll scapegoat the weather instead. How can anyone trust them to address the threats to our national security when they refuse to name the problem?
Climate change won't make you commit mass murder. Climate change won't make you buy and sell sex slaves or behead infidels.
But radical Islam just might.
