The issue didn't come up much during the election, but judging by the quick response the CBC received from Health Minister Jane Philpott confirming that the Liberals would move quickly to expand access to abortion services for all women across the country, this is clearly a priority for the Liberals, even if that means pushing the provinces to spend money to open more private clinics.
Liberals rail against private clinics of every other kind but this shows where Liberal priorities lie.
