Brian Lilley of TheRebel.Media reports: Inside the summit of premiers the Prime Minister called to deal with the threat of global warming…….lots of talk about what Canada is going to do on climate change.
Then there’s outside. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau eats, talks some more, and convinces the premiers that we need to act on this threat — we must reduce our carbon emissions, cut back on consumption……his motorcade sits outside idling, spewing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
I shouldn’t be shocked by the smoking tailpipes and humming engines. Progressives are masters of the “do as I say, not as I do” mindset.
They are the important people who jet around the world - Turkey and Philippines last week, London, Paris and Malta this week, all the while lecturing us about how we need to act on climate change.
Like some of his heroes, David Suzuki and Al Gore, they all agree we need a price on carbon, we need to pay more and do with less but none of this will ever effect them.
Trudeau is a trust fund baby that was born into money and now is well into the one percent he demonizes. The policies he is pushing on Canada now won’t impact his bank balance and they obviously won’t change his lifestyle.
Suzuki travels the planet telling the little people to cut back, live smaller yet owns four homes. Al Gore, famously owned a Tennessee mansion that used 20 times the energy of an average home and travels the world with a massive motorcade shuttling him from event to event.
I shudder to think how big their carbon footprints are and how much “carbon pollution” as they call it, they push into the atmosphere.
Trudeau joins the big people who like to lecture us little people from their high perches.
