Ezra Levant of TheRebel.media: The greatest supermarket in Germany was built more than a century ago. The Kaufhaus des Westens — the Westens shopping house, or KaDeWe as it’s called.
The original owners of the store were Jewish, and so in 1933, when the Nazis came to power, they were boycotted.
In 2015, what’s old is new again. But this time, KaDeWe did it themselves — they banned Jewish products. It’s part of an anti-semitic wave across Europe — the European Union is actually debating labelling products that are made in Israel.
After worldwide publicity, KaDeWe reversed its decision.
