Yes, this is the man who stood up in the House of Commons and spoke against wealthy families receiving government assistance for childcare.
He claimed that Harper was giving cheques to millionaires with the Universal Child Care Benefit and ran an “Occupy Wall Street” campaign, denouncing the wealthy in every imaginable way.
Trudeau liked to claim he would be different and even said he’d set an example by giving his UCCB to charity because he didn’t need it. He said people like him and his wife could pay for their own childcare.
We agree. You don’t need it.
So why are we paying for your nannies now that you’re Prime Minister?
