We all knew that when Trudeau said he’d hold deficits to $10B dollars per year or less that this wouldn’t happen.
And now, he’s finally admitting it, sort of.
That $10 B figure was just “the goal we were looking to keep” he says now, but we did commit to keeping Canadians apprised of how things were going.
Well, that’s a helpful bit of revisionism.
No matter how he tries to spin this, it’s yet another broken promise from Trudeau who made reckless promises throughout the campaign (as some of us tried to point out) and now, he can’t deliver.
And unfortunately, we’re all going to be paying for his reckless promises for a very long time.
