A terrorist who carried out a car ramming attack on Monday was a member of Hamas.
Among the seven injured in the attack, were a newborn baby and his mother. In a separate incident, an Israeli-Jew and a Palestinian resident of Jerusalem were also injured when one of their co-workers attacked them.
On Monday, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas referred to the last three months of violence as a justified popular uprising a view which is shared by a large percentage of Palestinians as reflected in a new poll released on Monday.
The results of this poll show the Palestinian people have little interest in settling the conflict which is not surprising considering their own leaders have encouraged them to believe that terrorism and violence will lead them to defeat Israel.
