Brian Lilley of TheRebel.Media reports:
The headlines are declaring a “landmark deal” on climate, but will this deal work and if so, for whose benefit?
Despite the heavy push by green activists, this is a voluntary agreement. It isn’t binding and countries will set their own targets and spend a lot of taxpayer money fighting a rise in temperature that scientists aren’t even sure is happening. They say there is consensus but actually none exists.
Remember this entire scientific process is based on computer modelling and though this fact is buried in the UN’s scientific review, computer models have consistently been proven wrong when later compared with actual measurements. Not only wasn’t it as warm as the models predicted but it was actually colder.
None of the dire and extreme weather predictions about temperatures, floods, droughts, hurricanes or other assorted catastrophes, were right.
After getting so many details wrong, they use very careful language in their documents, so careful that the whole document comes with enough caveats and cautions to make it essentially meaningless.
And for this, we will try to change our entire planet and Canada will revamp our entire economy? That is a bad idea.
We were sold a bill of goods going into this conference, and now that they have their deal, watch for what they will promise next, what other snake oil they will try to sell us.
