When Kathleen Wynne told us back in May of 2015 that beer would be sold in Ontario’s grocery stores, we were told this was a going to be a great thing, a huge leap forward for Ontario, but the reality is a lot different than the promise.
I explain why, as with most things that come from progressives, this is not about freedom but control.
Sadly, Ontario remains stuck in the dark ages when it comes to beer and alcohol sales. The province, especially with the Liberals in charge, wants to keep a tight grip on this both for the revenue and simply for the purpose of control. Time for a shake up.
