I’m all for public ownership of energy and power systems. The city of Idaho Falls was the first city in Idaho with its own power plant. Today, it’s still making juice from this small hydro plant on the Snake River. Of the 3,330 electricity providers in the US, about 2,000 of them are publicly owned entities like Idaho Falls Power.
