3:53Now PlayingSome good news coming out of Bennett College! As we approach the February 1st deadline for Bennett College to raise $5 million.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. has pledged $100,000 . In addition, AKA has established the AKA-HBCU Endowment Fund with the goal of "investing in the future of our young people and the sustainability of our treasured Historically Black Colleges and Universities".
The AKAs have pledged to donate a total of $10 million towards the endowment within the next 4 years.
Wells Fargo pledged $50,000 to Bennett.
Bennett College is close but there is still a little ways to go.
