5:50Now PlayingDoug Evans, a small town Mississippi prosecutor excluded 41 of 42 Black potential jurors over the course of six murder trials of one man, Curtis Flowers.
Flowers was accused of murdering four people. The actual evidence against him was thin and there were two mistrials and four convictions -- three of the convictions were overturned.
In the one conviction that stood, the jury comprised of 11 whites and one Black person. On Wednesdy the case was argued before the Supreme Court and the newest Justice, Brett Kavanaugh, seemed to side with Flowers' attorneys. A ruling on this case is expected before June.
