16:48Now PlayingDuring Thursday's edition of #RolandMartinUnfiltered, Stephanie Allain, Producer of "Boyz N the Hood" shared her memories of John Singleton.
Allain told a previously unheard of story of how Singleton's "Boyz N the Hood" came to be and how she had to "chase him to get the script" to read the script.
Despite having only directed eight films, Allain also told Roland Singleton's impact was far greater then the films and the television shows he directed. Allain said she was "blown away by how many people felt that he [John Singleton] was there for them."
