FL GOP Pass Bill Enforcing A Poll Tax On Ex-Felons Requiring Fines/Fees Be Paid Before They Can Vote

Florida Republicans have said to hell with voters and the will of the people.

Republicans in the state have passed a bill that establishes a poll tax for formerly incarcerated citizens.. The GOP is ignoring 65% of voters who cast their ballots for Amendment 4.

As a result of this blatant attempt to disenfranchise returned citizens, ex-felons will have to pay all fines, fees, and restitution associated with their sentences before they can regain their right to vote.
