Bennett said many players that "come into the league, they don't study, they don't pick up books. So when they go back into the real world their level of education has gone so far and they're left behind on what they knew in 2010."
He added, "I'll hand a guy a book, they won't read it, they have no thirst. They never had a thirst for knowledge."
Bennett also said the NFL does not want intelligent people, "they want intelligent football players."
