Cleveland Police Union Attempts To Get Cop That Killed Tamir Rice Rehired

The Cleveland Police Union is trying to get Timothy Loehmann, the former cop who shot and killed Tamir Rice another job with the Cleveland Police Department.

In 2014, Loehmann killed Tamir after he and his partner got a call saying a black male kept pulling a gun out of his pants and pointing it at people. The caller also told 911 several time that it was a child and it was a fake gun. Tamir was playing with his sister at the Cudell Recreation Center, a park in the City of Cleveland's Public Works Department when Loehmann and his partner pulled up and confronted the 12-year-old.

Samaria Rice, mother of Tamir Rice spoke with Roland Martin during Friday's edition of #RolandMartinUnfiltered to discuss what she is doing to keep Loehmann off the force.
