Approximately two months after Claflin University President Dr. Henry N. Tinsdale announced his retirement, the university's board of trustees unanimously appointed Dr. Warmack to lead the 150-year-old historically black university.
Dr. Tinsdale served as president of his alma mater for nearly two decades and his tenure is marked by visionary leadership and remarkable accomplishments for the oldest historically black college or university in South Carolina.
